This is the personal website for Jerry Sander, L.C.S.W.-R, psychotherapist, father, and author. It is my hope these pages encourage you to pursue your own positive change in this world -- these days are not a dress-rehearsal for things to come, but are the thing itself. 

May we all find what F.M. Alexander called “the means whereby,” which Aldous Huxley cited as essential to helping love become effective in an often-loveless world.

My therapy practice is open to adults, teens, couples and children over eight years old.  While my expertise is adolescence, I have come to appreciate how adolescent issues resonate throughout our lives and are present in our intimate relationships, family interactions and professional work lives.  I am happy to be starting a Men’s Group, this February, 2010, for men who are dealing with adjustment issues, parenting or family concerns, emotional steadiness, and happiness.  It will be meet once every two weeks for an hour and a half and will cost $50/session, with a five-session commitment.  It may be reimbursable under your insurance.
